SCULPTURE

I began to make these type of sculptures in 2011.  I began to look at the clay figures that had been catalysts to many of my paintings as their own breathing entities.  In this media I become the scavenger--collecting up-cycled and used gifted materials to build these. I am using a variety of materials such as, wire, wood, clay, paint, shells, pine needles, nails, toothpicks, plumbing, paper clips, thread, string, etc.
